Stumbled upon this boba shop while on the way back from a Big Bear trip and the drinks here are sooo good!! I tried their Miyazaki Hojicha with Salted Cream at 75% sugar. Their tea is strong and flavorful, and when I mixed my drink, the cream added some milky-ness which I liked. I loved the roasted flavor from the hojicha and you could tell it was quality tea. We also tried Miyazaki Hojicha with Black Sesame Cream, which was delicious with the black sesame that paired well with the drink. We also tried the Nilgiri Organic tea which was refreshing and light. The inside decor has very retro Japanese-theme vibes. It's very small inside and they have a few tables outside if you want to hang out. I think it's more of a grab and go type of place. It was a little difficult to find since they don't have a sign on their building, but we were able to find the sign on the door. They offer handmade boba, but we didn't add it to our drinks, so I'll have to try those next time I'm in the area!

The matcha, boba and of course the hojicha with salted cream and black sesame were all amazing!! They serve my favorite matcha and hojicha of all time! The cute stamp cards are a plus too! Definitely stop by if you're in the area!!

I wanted to try a different milktea store aside from my usual one, and this one just so happens to be located near my husband's workplace. So, we tried going here, and to be honest, we got confused where it was at first because the store is quite small. However, I must say, their teas are quite amazing! My brother-in-law and I both ordered Hojicha + Sea Cream and it was so delicious with their handmade boba! I will definitely come back to try the other teas they have on their menu

One of my favorite tea places in Redlands! Their flavors are robust and the quality is really top tier as compared to other tea shops in the nearby area. We love coming here because we are always met with a smile and positive attitude. We love the variety they have as well- from milky to non-milky and non-caffeinated drinks.

Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got to make my way down to Redlands. They have very unique Hojicha options that I've never had before. I got the Hojicha + sea cream with boba and I really liked it. The boba is really good and different from the typical tapioca pearls. The matcha latte with oat milk was not bad. Not super strong but just smooth. I also tried the hojicha + black sesame and I was surprised that I actually liked it too. You can tell that they brew their hojicha tea cause there's tea dust which is legit. This is located in a random business park but there's lots of parking. There are NO restrooms here.

Was a little skeptical of this place but I have to say, the quality of their matcha is next level. The drinks are very well crafted. This place is proof that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Admittedly, I would have never found this place. It's tucked away in a small industrial complex. Also, if it hadn't come highly recommended, I probably would have turned around. The place kind of gives me gamer dorm room vibes. 90s grunge in a way that comes off a bit affected. Also, it's super small. That said. I'm glad I didn't let my apparent prejudices deter me. The drinks are really delicious. I had an matcha latte with oatmilk. I also grabbed a iced assam with sea cream for my friend. She raved that it was incredible. I'll definitely back. The staff is great.

I've been looking forward to this trip to Redland just to visit Hoji! There was plenty of parking when we arrived, though it's easy to miss since it's tucked away in a plaza filled with other businesses. But as soon as we walked in, we were blown away by the unique decor! The interior has a retro, pop-city Japan vibe, with quirky and eye-catching decorations everywhere. We ordered the Nilgiri Sea Cream with their handmade Kobuto boba and a Matcha Americano. Both drinks were incredible! My partner, who usually isn't a fan of boba, is now a convert thanks to Hoji. You can tell they put so much care and effort into each drink. Can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Until next time, Hoji!

Located in a pretty nondescript and unassuming looking business plaza, Hoji is by itself, a shop that has a lot of character - in addition to having GREAT drinks - despite its pretty small size. We had the Black Sesame + Hojicha with homemade Japanese boba that was absolutely wonderful. It was sweet without being too sweet and the boba was really soft to chew. The Hojicha + Oat was also great too...it had all the deliciousness of a great milk tea but with much less guilt of drinking something potentially fattening. And to see a drink priced at a little more or less than $5 depending on what it was, almost brought a tear to my eye but I am going to guess lower costs of running a business in this area is a contributing factor. Hoji's use of traditional looking library cards not just as stamp cards but also to adorn its walls with hand drawn anime art was also really creative and a welcome sight for an otaku like yours truly to see. Pair that with the music that was playing and the overall vibe of this place is just so...cool. Hoji is definitely a place we will always go back to each time we visit Redlands!

Stumbled upon this place when I was looking for boba around the San Bernardino/Redlands area. I knew this place was going to be good from all the reviews! Also I had a feeling they were hojicha brewmasters since not a lot of shops specialize or even have hojicha on their menus. I got a large hojicha tea with oat milk and boba at regular sweetness. It was perfect, creamy, and refreshing. The tea flavor was strong but not overpowering or bitter. Oat milk was very subtle in oat flavor and not overshadowing the hojicha tea. Boba was soft and chewy, not like your traditional boba pearls because I think they hand make them there! Service was quick and friendly overall. Small shop with a bench inside and 2 small tables outside.

Nice interior that tries to replicate the aesthetics of the 90s and 00s. Most notable item is the CRT TV that is used as a music player; all the electronics seem to be random stuff they got for props. Got the hojicha with sweet cream and boba for $6. The boba was just done cooking and upon taking a closer at it, has a hand cut look to it. Highly recommend the boba. The drink itself has a strong tea taste that accompanies with the sweet cream.
